I performed a paired 3dttest++ on my data (track counts mapped onto std.60.smoothwm nodes), followed by multiple comparison correction using 3dFDR. After mapping the results onto lh:MNI_N27:ld60:inflated in SUMA, I noticed some unexpected behavior. When I pressed the background toggle ('b'), the background was not removed as expected, and the mapped data appeared with abnormal striped artifacts (see attached image).
I would like to know whether this issue is related to my data or if it is a problem with SUMA. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I think this was a bug in the software last year that has since been fixed. If you can't upgrade to a newer version of AFNI, then consider the workarounds in this post:
Thank you so much for the helpful explanation and workarounds! I really appreciate your quick response and the clear instructions. This will definitely help until I can upgrade AFNI. Thanks again!
