I'm new to TORTOISE, though I have worked with other software for processing of diffusion data (FSL, MRtrix).
I have a very basic question: can you do tractography on reconstructions with MAP-MRI? In other words, does MAP-MRI provide some form of ODFs?

Hello,
We have internal tools to extract ODF peaks from MAPMRI compatible with trackvis format but these tools are not released yet. They are really in a "internal use" state.
However, QSIPREP recently has completed a tractography implementation using TORTOISE's MAPMRI data. IT might be released at this point or soon will be released (this is a recent development).
