SUMA display

when i open the afni and SUMA graphical interface of the fMRI result, then talk them to make they change together.
After talking, i can just see the active regions in the SUMA graphical interface. However, there is no cross symbol to locate the brain area coordinates on the SUMA. How can i do it? Is there some environment variables of .sumarc need to set?

There should be a crosshairs “on” by default in SUMA, appearing at the closest node to where you click on a surface mesh. There is a also a triangle highlighted (it shows the mesh triangle within which you have clicked). The crosshairs in SUMA is a yellow ball with small red+blue+green set of axes sticking out of it in mutually orthogonal directions.

Note if you click somewhere of interest in AFNI, you might not have clicked on a voxel intersecting the surface, and then you would likely not see the crosshairs-- perhaps that is what is happening?

Note that you can also turn the crosshair, node highlighter and mesh-triangle highlighter on/off by goign to the SUMA menu → View → “Cross Hair” (and similarly for “Node in focus” and “Selected Faceset”); those viewing functionalities are also toggled on/off with the F3, F4 and F5 keystrokes.

I have turn on the SUMA menu → View → “Cross Hair” (and similarly for “Node in focus” and “Selected Faceset”),but
still cannot see the crosshair, node highlighter and mesh-triangle highlighter on the SUMA map.

Did you right-click on the surface itself in SUMA, and then zoom in (using middle scroll wheel on a mouse or pressing “shift-Z” on the keyboard)?

Also, whenever using SUMA, the “Num-Lock” functionality from the keyboard should be off.
