Dear AFNI developers,
I am running a gPPI analysis to my fMRI data. I have a question. The inputs ( pb04.*) of gPPI in the link (Context-Dependent Correlation Analysis or Generalized PPI | afni.nimh.nih.gov) are signal values while the inputs of PPI in the scripts (PPI) are the residual error time series generated by regression. Which one should I choose as input?

I found that the answer about the same question is residual. If it's residual, why? This is different from(PPI - FslWiki).
