Postdoctoral Fellow Neuroimaging and Cognitive Research

The Research Program on Cognition and Neuromodulation Based Interventions (RP-CNBI) at the University of Michigan (https://rpcnbi.medicine.umich.edu) announces an opening for a full-time research post-doctoral position. The program's mission is to implement novel and effective non-pharmacological treatments for individuals with cognitive impairments due to neurologic injury and/or disease. RP-CNBI integrates neuropsychological theory with multi-modal neuroimaging techniques and non-pharmacological treatments.
The research fellow will be jointly supervised by Drs. Alexandru Iordan and Benjamin Hampstead and perform advanced analyses of multi-modal neuroimaging data from ongoing projects/clinical trials supported by 11 grants totaling over 13 million in NIH/DOD funding.
The fellow will have access to a variety of research techniques, including:
- Multi-modal imaging: fMRI, fNIRS, MRS/fMRS, PET, ASL, DWI
- Neuromodulation: tDCS, tACS, TMS
- Cognitive rehabilitation using computerized tasks and virtual reality
