Instead of 10’s of 1000’s of voxel (or surface node) timeseries’, I want to create 180 timeseries (per hemipshere) which are the mean timeseries within that parcel (that smooths out the data)

Hi-

If you have a dataset of time series (per voxel for volumetric data, or per node for surfaces), and if you have a corresponding map of ROIs for time series, you can calculate average time series within those ROIs. Is that what you would like to do?
