ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION, COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE.
The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia (www.uga.edu/psychology) is seeking to fill one tenure-track position in Cognitive Neuroscience, with a focus on social cognition related to bias and equity, beginning Fall 2024. The position is at the Assistant Professor level. The responsibilities of the position are teaching, research, and a small departmental service component.
Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, social psychology, neuroscience, or a
related field, and an established and strong record of research commensurate with career stage, with
strong potential for external funding.
The successful applicant will join a nationally prominent and productive research faculty in the
Department of Psychology, within the Behavioral and Brain Sciences area that brings together Cognitive, Developmental, Health, Neuroscience, and Social Psychologists to facilitate interdisciplinary graduate training. The department is committed to promoting the careers of junior faculty.
