Dear experts:
I have collected four subjects of taste fmri, and each subjects tasted bitter, saly, sour, sweet, umami in a run. Each stimulus repeated six times in a run and every session includes six runs.In addition, each subjects took the same taste fmri experiment five times. After I used GLM model to fit this taste fmri data of each session ,each session produced a statistic results of five taste estimate effects. My question is that:If I want to get the subject level results using the five sessions’ statistic results ,can I use the 3dmema or 3dttest to analyze the five sessions’ data of each subject,so I will get the subject level results combing the five sessions’ results. In addition, how can I analyze the 5 tastes at the group level? It is really a difficult thing for me .
Thanks for your help.
If all the data across sessions are spatially aligned, you can put all the data for each subject into one regression model through afni_proc.py or 3dDeconvolve and obtain one effect estimate per taste at the subject level.
Thanks for your help,Is there any paper putting all the data for each subject into one regression model ,As you said, dose it mean that all these pb04.Pilot1.r01.scale+orig.HEAD should align to the same 3DT1 space, then use the 3dDeconvolve regress the 6*5=30 scaled files.
dose it mean that all these pb04.Pilot1.r01.scale+orig.HEAD should align to the same 3DT1 space, then use the 3dDeconvolve regress the 6*5=30 scaled files.
Ideally all the data should be aligned to the same template in the standard space before you feed them to the subject-level regression model.
