get rid of sent surfaces without restarting afni?

hi gurus

if i have AFNI and SUMA talking, and I've sent surfaces over to AFNI, but then i want to clear those surfaces in AFNI to send new ones from SUMA, is there a button or setting somewhere or do i have to close and restart AFNI? thanks!

There is no way (yet) to clear the surfaces from memory in AFNI, but you can send surfaces with the same names (maybe from a new instance of suma, with a warning about duplication) or send surfaces with new names. The Control Surface menu allows turning on and off and controlling the colors of the surfaces.

thanks for the fast reply! okay yes that's an option. another option of course is to just write a little AFNI driver script to cut down on the repeated setup, but that's not always optimal either, depends on the dataset and what i'm doing. anyway, thanks again!
