3dDeconvolve -no data output and efficiency question

Hello,

I’m trying to use RSFgen, make_stim_times.py and 3dDeconvolve -nodata option as described in the experimental handout (https://afni.nimh.nih.gov/pub/dist/edu/latest/afni_handouts/ExptDsgn.pdf) and had a question.

Why do you get one norm. std. dev. output per regressor and contrast with the GAM option, but 6 norm. std. dev. output per regressor/contrast with the TENT option? What are all the 6 different norm. std. dev outputs for each regressor in the TENT option?

Thanks!

Why do you get one norm. std. dev. output per regressor and contrast with the GAM option, but 6 norm.
std. dev. output per regressor/contrast with the TENT option?

I suspect that you have 6 TENTs in your model specification, each of which leads to one value of norm. std. dev. in the output.

Also, consider using @stim_analyze, with make_random_timing.py.
