I have been using the link to neurosynth to interpret fMRI map results.
It's been a while now that I've been experiencing issues in Neurosynth, and now it has completely stopped showing meaningful results. Are you aware of any general issues with Neurosynth? If yes, is there an alternative we can directly access through AFNI?
While we do link to Neurosynth in the AFNI GUI via the whereami functionality, Neurosynth is run by a different group, so you might have to inquire with them about any issues there. I wasn't aware that Neurosynth was updated anymore.
What kind of functionality do you want? We do have hte "whereami" in AFNI, for example.
Hi, It basically seems that it stopped working. Regardless of AFNI. It's a shame because we use it a lot for interpreting activation maps in AFNI. They seemed to have moved to something called Neurosynth Compose.
Hm, weird. I just fired up the AFNI GUI, loaded a ulay dataset in MNI template space, right clicked and went to selected '- Where Am I?', and from the coordinate atlas report menu that popped up, I selected the yellow NeuroSynth link. That opened a valid browser tab with an an apparently active NeuroSynth connection, looking like this:
something siimlar... the coordinates seem 'stuck' in 0 0 0, and the map that is shown has nothing to do with the seed I gave it. I suspect Neurosynth might not be supported anymore....
That's a problem with their server now. Please see this thread for more information and potential updates.
