Fixing a bit of wrap around?

Is there a function in AFNI that would let me fix some wrap around?

I have a bit “back of the head” that is showing up in the front on one of my data sets. It’s not cutting into the head in the front or anything like that, but it is throwing off align_epi_anat.py’s ability to align that data set.

Thanks.

Is the actual brain wrapping around, or it is just
the skull?

There’s a bit of brain.

That is less comforting, but I guess it is why
you want to do this to begin with. While you
can perform such an operation, it is not clear
how reliable that data would be.

Does this apply to many subjects?

Try using 3dAutomask as the -epi_strip method.
