Convert brik/head to nifti WITHOUT installing AFNI

Hi, I have a single ROI .brik/head file that I need to convert to the nii format to use for analyses in SPM. Is it possible to convert a brik/head files to the nifti format without installing AFNI?

Installing AFNI would be the most supported way of doing things. But if you’re really trying to avoid it, here’s a couple of options:

  1. AFNIpy[/url] https://github.com/florisvanvugt/afnipy and [url=https://github.com/nipy/nibabel]Nibable https://github.com/nipy/nibabel could likely do the work
    2 Freesurfer’s mri_convert looks like it could do the trick.
