Censoring outliers during regression - recommended value?

Hi AFNI gurus,

Is there a recommended benchmark value to set for the -regress_censor_outliers LIMIT option in afni_proc.py? It seems like in most of the examples it is set to censor TRs when more than 10% of the automasked brain are outliers (e.g., -regress_censor_outliers .1), but was curious to know if there was a recommended limit or range of values?

Hi Lauren,

There isn’t any highly recommended range, but I would be inclined
to suggest something between 0.05 and 0.1, depending on how strict
one wants to be. Even lower would be reasonable with good data.
